My experience in preparing proposals and reports demonstrates a strong understanding of how higher education institutions fulfill their public mission, a key aspect sought in higher education applications. I recently compiled evidence-based information showcasing community engagement across NC State’s 13 colleges.

This involved gathering specific examples of collaboration where the university’s knowledge and resources were mutually exchanged with external communities for public benefit. This comprehensive data was then organized into concise sections for a specialized application, similar to those for the Carnegie Elective Community Engagement Classification, which recognize institutions for their extraordinary commitment to public service.

My successful completion of this rigorous application process in April 2025 highlights my ability to research thoroughly, synthesize complex information, and articulate an institution’s strategic initiatives and societal contributions, directly qualifying me to effectively present qualifications for higher education opportunities.
